Dutch Printer Extends KBA Production Capacity
Dutch printing house Janssen Pers Rotatiedruk, a longstanding KBA customer based in Gennep, has ordered an extension to the single-width Continent web press it installed in 1999.
According to Tiber, its business plan allows for further capital investment to follow the Compacta 618 up to 2010.
Flexibility and efficiency, along with complete customer service, are the key principles of the company's corporate philosophy, whilst the technical knowledge of its employees is ensured by continuous training, said KBA.
Twenty-five thousand tons of paper and 600 tons of ink are printed at Tiber each year.
After Italy, its main sales outlets from Brescia are France, Germany and Austria, although the company also has customers in other European countries as well.
KBA added that the order extends the partnership between both businesses, which was established in 2001 with the delivery of the Compacta 318.
Founded in 1967, the family-owned business is run by chairman Armanno Becchetti as a commercial web offset printshop.
It specialises in the printing of high-quality in medium to large production runs.
The company's conversion this year to public limited status, has been a further development. Request a free brochure from KBA ...
