64-Page KBA Press To Print International

One of KBA's 64-page Compacta 818 presses is bound for a new plant Sociedade Grafica da Paia (Sogapal), one of the biggest commercial printers in Portugal.
Sociedade Grafica da Paia is expanding and the new Compatca press will join four 16pp Compacta 215 and three 48pp Compacta 618 presses from KBA that are already operating at the company The 43,500rph Compacta 818 has a web width of 1,905mm (75") and a cylinder circumference of 1,240mm (48.75") will print products for the domestic market and for export to Spain, France, Belgium and the UK
The press package includes automatic reel handling, a Pastomat reelstand, a free-standing in-feed unit, four printing units with semi-automatic plate changers, a thermal air dryer, a chill roller stand a superstructure, as well as a P5 pin folder.
