Market Interest In B2 Press Prompts Recruitment

A KBA product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team May 26, 2008

KBA UK has appointed Mike Kemp to the newly-created role of small offset and specialised product manager for the Midlands and north of the UK.

The company said that the development is part of its response to the strong market reaction to its new Rapida 75 B2 press in the run-up to the Drupa 2008 exhibition.

The new position mirrors the role of Jamie McCuaig in the south of the UK and Kemp's brief also encompasses KBA's waterless and UV print production systems, including the 74G and the Genius 52 presses.

Kemp has previously represented small offset products for Heidelberg, digital systems with Xerox and the Ryobi range for Apex Digital Graphics.

Mark Nixon, KBA UK's executive sales director for sheetfed presses, said: "Mike's appointment will enable us to take our exciting product range to an even wider audience." Kemp commented: "Having worked in the small offset sector for a number of years, it is one I know well.

I am very excited about the opportunity to promote KBA's fantastic range, including the impressive Rapida 75.".
