Iranian packaging company Techno Sanaye completed a deal on the KBA stand at Drupa 2008 for a five-colour Rapida 130a press with coating and board capability as well as a delivery extension.
Scheduled to go live at the Teheran plant of Techno Sanaye in 2009, the press will be the first large-format Rapida in Iran and the first KBA machine for the company.
Techno Sanaye, which prints packaging for cosmetics, food and washing powder, has been in business for 50 years.
The company is currently building a new production hall and it said that it went to Drupa looking for the best large-format technology available, with proven performance.
