6-Colour Rapida Press To Boost Firm's
Market Share
Swiss print provider Langenbach in Schafisheim has ordered a size six, six-colour (56-inch) Rapida 142 press with a coater and a triple extended delivery.
The decision to buy the new machine is aimed at achieving increased market share by exploiting productivity, quality and capacity gains The new investment follows the commissioning last month of a size seven (63.75-inch) Rapida 162 six-colour press with two coaters

Like the Rapida 162 the Rapida 142 will have quality measurement, monitoring and control, in-line sheet inspection and will be fully embedded in the firm's automated substrate logistics system.
