Label Art, the Dublin (Eire) self-adhesive label printer, has achieved certification to the BRC/IoP global standard for food packaging.

Label Art, the Dublin (Eire) self-adhesive label printer, has achieved certification to the BRC/IoP global standard for food packaging.

The standard set by the British Retail Consortium in cooperation with the Institute of Packaging and certified by QA International Certification, includes quality management systems, hazard and risk analysis of operations, technical management systems, factory standards that cover buildings, housekeeping, contamination control and personnel hygiene.

"This certification enables us to offer greater assurances to existing customers and assists in winning new customers in the food sector" said John Browne, Label Art's managing director.

Label Art's facilities include the first digital label press installed in Ireland, together with flexographic, letterpress and screen printing processes.
