Lake Image Systems has appointed Scott Stevens as vice president of technical operations.

Stevens' role will be to further expand Lake Image Systems' continuous printing verification technologies and oversee the engineering and technical support departments.

His experience with digital printing and verification will be an invaluable resource as Lake Image Systems continues its rapid expansion, said the company.

Scott Stevens most recently oversaw technical operations and customer service teams at Nipson America in Elk Grove Village, Illinois (USA).

Prior to Nipson, he held a position as director of digital technologies in the research and development department within Wallace Computer Systems, where Stevens was awarded eight patents.

Martin Keats, managing director of Lake Image Systems, said: "Scott's extensive background in digital printing, engineering and verification is rare.

At every organisation he has proved invaluable and we are fortunate to have his leadership capabilities guiding our continued development.

We will make full use of that experience as we advance our leadership with mail piece integrity and progress our inkjet printing and web verification systems.".
