Spotting Missing And Duplicate Pieces In Real Time

APT, a PC-based piece level and job level tracking system is claimed to allow document processors to identify missing and duplicate pieces, in real time, according to Lake Image Systems.

APT will be demonstrated on Lake Image Systems' stand - 3684 - at Graph Expo exhibition.

The company said that APT, can accept real time data from local integrity verification such systems as Lake Image Systems' Integravision and Integrascan as a result of a new partnership with APT's producer, Ironsides Technology.

APT provides real time metrics for SLA management and provides files to automate reprints, whilst compiling audit trails for regulatory compliance.

According to Ironsides' president, Bill Riley: "Many of our clients may be interested in larger automated document factory systems yet need to first resolve everyday production challenges.

They also prefer to take a modular, scalable approach to ADF.

APT provides the scalable foundation for ADF and robust piece and job level verification systems that improve production efficiency." He added: "APT provides focused and reliable tools for connecting many production devices to a centralised reporting structure to create real time SLA management and real time reconciliation of multiple production lines."
