Two new scuff-resistant UV vinyl, linerless heat sealable over-laminating films have been added to the Lamount.com e-commerce website.
All the films, made by D and K, are direct coated using propriety Superstick adhesive, which is claimed to have low temperature activation and UV inhibition.
The materials benefit from easier set-up and better production speeds, in comparison to the traditional heat-seals with their release liners, said the company.
Lamount is run by Mike Draper, who said he has been involved in developing many of the products.
He added that his aim is to supply traditional style materials, as well as introducing new ones with competitive advantages.
He added that further developments are in the pipeline.
The company, which supplies laminating and mounting materials for the graphics finishing and digital print markets, has also launched its new e-commerce website.
The business provides solvent-based, pressure sensitive coated polyester and vinyl laminating films for exterior use for the wide format graphics finishing sectors, as well as solvent-based pressure sensitive adhesive coated mounting films and extrusion coated, low melt co-polymer, thermal encapsulation films.
