Stork Prints' complete Rotaplate mesh programme will be seen for the first time at Labelexpo Europe 2007 on stand 12W10.

The company said that there are now meshes suitable for applications from fine line work through to tactile and Braille effects Rotaplate is also said to be appropriate for non-Stork rotary screen systems

With its pure nickel, non-woven hexagonal-hole formation, it is claimed to be able to able to reliably withstand the rigours of printing and handling, whilst being re-usable.

Stock Prints added that the product can accommodate up to 40 per cent more holes than mesh alternatives.

Also making its debut at the show will be the company's Hybrid Helios, the latest addition to the laser engraving programme.

The new system is claimed to be suitable for film-less engraving of flexo, offset, Rotamesh and, for the first time, Rotaplate meshes.

The unit accommodates the latter by means of a magnetic mandrel.

Stork's affiliated company, AKL Flexotechnik, will also be present on the Stork stand, presenting its range of flexo consumable products, including conventional sleeves for plate mounting, seamless-endless photopolymer printing formes and Optiflex thin sleeve and adapter technology.

The company's developments in rotary screen printing are claimed to be creating a lower cost of ownership and easier access to the high value printing process.

Stork added that it offers modular printing units and complete printing lines to suit all budgets and printing applications.

The RSI modules are also designed to be integrated on to existing presses, so keeping the investment requirements low.

Modules are available in widths from 10" (254mm) to 40" (1,000mm).

They have repeat size ranges and can be used with almost all web-fed substrates.

RSI Compact units, with restricted repeat sizes ranging from 12" - 18", are designed for the label and narrow-web printer's needs.

Stork also supplies a number of press-manufacturing partners with its RSI Easyfit bespoke cassette format modules for insertion in to the mainframe of the press.

They are designed for presses that allow interchange between different processes at each station.

Also on show at Labelexpo will be Stork's pure nickel, electroformed Rotamesh screens for claimed long life and long-term reductions in consumable costs.

Themeshes are said to be capable of being re-imaged up to 15 times.
