The new Comco C2 servo-driven narrow and mid-web press will make its European debut at the Labelexpo Europe exhibition in Brussels (Belgium) on stand 5C10.
It is claimed that the Comco C2 press has combined the expertise of the Comco and Mark Andy engineering teams to create what is known as I-Drive, descirbed as an 'intelligent' drive system that combines maximum controllability with simplified operation.
According to Comco, the C2 brings together flexo technology to the market for labels, flexible packaging and folding cartons.
It is redefining production benchmarks globally and characterised by instant change-overs, virtual offset print quality and ergonomic design.
The C2's modular, in-line design is also said to allow production flexibility.
It features plug and play print and converting units and operating sleeve technology for quick handling of job change-overs.
