India's label industry strength sees show boom
In recognition of the rapid development of the Indian label market, in defiance of the weak global economy, Labelexpo has that the India Label Show will now be known as Labelexpo India.
Already the largest label event in India, the show will now join events in Brussels, Chicago and Shanghai as technology showcases for the labeleling industry.
Labelexpo India 2010 will take place on 8-10 December at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The previous event in 2008 attracted over 200 exhibitors and almost 5,000 visitors.
Roger Pellow, Labelexpo'a managing director, said: 'The Labelexpo brand has set standards in our industry for the past 30 years.
In the same way, Labelexpo India will support the vibrant Indian label industry and provide a platform to present the latest innovations.
Labelexpo India reflects more than just a name change - it shows our commitment to developing the industry in the same way as the other Labelexpo events around the world have done.
That means more working machinery and live demonstrations, ensuring the strong growth of the market and show.
