The nominees for this year's Label Industry Global Awards have been announced.

The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) is to stage its south eastern regional conference on March 30 at Brands Hatch, Kent (UK).
The awards include the R Stanton Avery lifetime achievement award sponsored by Avery Dennison, for which nominees include Angelo Bartesaghi of Omet, Jorgen Gerhardt, from Gerhardt, Dow Corning's Andrew Jack and Jaume Puigbo of Caposa Group.
Further nominees are Tom Rink of Ritrama, Schreiner Group's Helmut Schreiner and Joseph Weber junior of Weber Marking Systems.
The label industry award for continuous innovation, which is sponsored by Labels and Labeling, Narrowebtech and Label and Narrow Web has nominations that feature ABG, BASF Adhesives, Dow Corning, Exxon Mobil, Gerhardt Engraving and Kocher + Beck.
Rotoflex, Rotometrics, UPM Raflatac and Xsys Print Solutions are also in the running for the award.
Nominations for the label industry award for new innovation include AVT, Bielomatik (RFID), DIMS, GEW, Stork Prints (laser engraving) and Xeikon.
Arca Etichette and Caposa Group European are amongst those competing for the converter of the year 2007 (sponsored by Xsys Print Solutions) award, along with Drorys Etichette, Fix-a-Form/Denny Bros, Herma, Illospear (formerly Illochroma), Pago AG and Schreiner Group.
The awards will be presented at a dinner and awards ceremony on the first evening of Labelexpo Europe - September 26 September at Autoworld in Brussels (Belgium).
