Linx showcases LCM and CIJ technologies at expo

A Linx Printing Technologies product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Oct 31, 2008

Linx Printing Technologies is launching products including its Large Character Marking (LCM) and Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) laser coding technologies at Emballage 2008.

The Linx IJ350 is a fully featured LCM coder ideal for outer case and secondary packaging requirements.

It comprises a fully enclosed, self-cleaning printhead with micro-purge system, a compact and detachable display unit and an icon-based touch screen.

The Linx SL501 50W laser has a standalone construction that does not require air or water for efficient operation.

CIJ technology is represented by a new model in the Linx 6900 CIJ printer range, which Linx claimed is capable of reducing solvent usage by up to 40 per cent.

The Linx 6900 Solver uses a new ink system and software, which adapts to specific printing conditions by reducing solvent evaporation within the system and, adjusting its operation according to the requirements of the code that is being printed.
