Markzware will be demonstrating its full product range at the 2006 Ipex exhibition.

Markzware will be demonstrating its full product range at the 2006 Ipex exhibition.

The company will be present on the XChange International stand 20-D42, hall 20, or the ROI Distribution stand 06-D55, hall 20.

Flightcheck Online, which is now offered as a complete turn-key system, will be demonstrated.

Printshops can employ pre-flighting, collection, compression and file-transfer that is claimed to be easy to install and use.

Hendrik van Haele, IT manager for Deckers Druck in Belgium, said: "It means less print errors for us, fewer corrections and a reduction in courier costs.

Above all we have a better overview of the files which have come in and we can plan more effectively." Both Q2ID (QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign) and ID2Q (InDesign to QuarkXPress) will be highlighted by Markzware at Ipex.

The conversion tools enable data content created within QuarkXPress documents to be migrated in to Adobe InDesign, and vice-versa.

Document creators, copyrighters and translators will save time in scanning, retyping and recreating content, said the company.

Other Markzware products available during IPEX will include Flightcheck Professional, which is claimed to save reprocessing costs for printers and publishers.

The pre-press and repro application is said to warns users of over 300 potential problems before going to print.

The stand-alone application has a drag-and-drop interface and it is compatible with file types including PDF, PDF/X, Pass4Press, Ghent Workgroup PDF, QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, FreeHand, Corewdraw and Microsoft Word, for instance.

Flightcheck Studio will also be on show at Ipex, where its real time pre-flighting will be demonstrated to help keep design and production managers on the same page whilst ensuring correct mechanical specification.

It also alerts users of potential problems, such as incorrect colour models and missing fonts and also fixing them automatically.

Versions of this plug-in are available for both QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign.
