The Asia Pacific Coatings Show named the global launch of MetalFX the Marketing Campaign of the Year yesterday at the annual awards ceremony.

The Asia Pacific Coatings Show named the global launch of MetalFX the Marketing Campaign of the Year yesterday at the annual awards ceremony.

The technology beat many leading industry companies, such as BASF to the title, said MetalFX.

MetalFX managing director, Andrew Ainge, commented: "It is fantastic that such a new and exciting innovation as MetalFX has been recognised for such an award.

The recognition above such major industry names shows just what the technology can achieve: something new and innovative that can give printers worldwide a unique point of difference over the competition." The award was collected by Keith Wheldon, from MFX strategic partner company, Wolstenholme International.

MetalFX also previously won awards including the Supplier of the Year 2002 (BPIF), the Innovation of the Year 2003 (UK National Business Awards), the best Technical Achievement in Flexo award by EFTA, and was Highly Commended by the Printing World Awards 2003.

MetalFX has recently been nominated again by the National Business Awards, this time for Small to Medium Business of the Year 2004.

The results will be announced in July.
