Design Competition For MetalFX Users

Printers, graphic designers and advertising agencies that have use MetalFX's software on a commercial product during this year will be able to enter a design competition.

Those companies will be able to submit their designs and final printed products for consideration.

Producers of the winning design, to be selected from amongst worldwide submissions, will receive an engraved award and may use the official MetalFX award logo on their stationery, promotional material and websites as an indication of their skill in use of the MetalFX technology added the company.

In addition, MetalFX will promote the winning design throughout the design and printing communities.

MetalFX's vice president for the Americas Mark Geeves, said: "Graphic designers and printers continue to find new and innovative ways to take advantage of the unique metallic printing characteristics of the MetalFX process.

Previous MetalFX competitions have been heartily received by designers and printers, many of whom use MetalFX to showcase their abilities and promote their capabilities." MetalFX is a process and spot metallic colour system that is said to allow millions of metallic colours to be printed by adding a single base silver ink to the usual CMYK ink mix.
