Metallic Colour System With New
Heidelberg Press
Heidelberg Brazil spotlighted MetalFX's metallic colour system at an open house event that promoted its newest press, the Speedmaster XL 105.
At the open house, Heidelberg printed and die cut a folding carton incorporating the MetalFX process Mark Geeves, MetalFX's vice president for the Americas, explained: "We are pleased that Heidelberg chose MetalFX to illustrate the results which can be produced on its new press
With the MetalFX five-colour printing process, printers can achieve brilliant metallic results with ease and speed." MetalFX is described by the company as a universal process and spot metallic colour system that allows millions of metallic colours to be printed by adding one base silver ink to the usual CMYK mix.
