MetalFX Donates USD0.5m In Students
Competition
Software worth USD500,000 will be donated by MetalFX to schools throughout the USA in a design competition for North American students that will demonstrate the capabilities of metallic printing.
MetalFX Technology is sponsoring the competition, which will be administered by PIA/GATF, where students will submit graphic designs demonstrating metallic printing The winner of the competition will be awarded an all-expenses paid trip to the Graph Expo 2008 exhibition in Chicago (USA) where the winning design will be exhibited on the PIA/GATF stand
Designs for the competition must be submitted by July 31.
MetalFX vice-president for the Americas, Mark Geeves, said: "The student design competition will ensure that students enter the workplace fully able to use the most powerful metallic printing software available.
To enable students to participate we are donating our software, with a value of USD500,000 to as many as 100 schools throughout North America.".
