We anticipate being able to hire the majority of this new in-take of technical personnel within the next few months.
New staff will be added at geographical locations throughout the country and will be employed for both sheet-fed and web service operations." In highlighting the new type f new business that the company had attracted, Pendlebury added: "The nature of the orders that we have been receiving during the last year has also required us to look at the potential for further alignment of customer demands and customer needs.
As a result, we have added a third element to our service cover, providing emergency call out capability from Friday through to Monday." Current service levels available under the company's Proserv technical service package provide for standard hours coverage, from Monday to Friday between 07:00 - 19:00.

A team of four service personnel will be made available on a stand-by basis to cover that additional period, said the company.
Pendlebury said: "The addition of new presses throughout the country over the coming 12 months means that we have had to take a close look at our support structure.
We are confident that with the addition of 16 new technicians we will be able to maintain the high level of support that our customers expect.".
