World Debut For New Roland 700 Press

A MAN Roland GB product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team May 25, 2007

MAN Roland debuted its five-color Roland 700 LV Hiprint - the first time it has been seen at an exhibition anywhere in the world.

With the help of demonstrations, the company said it highlighted the Roland 700 LV Hiprint, which was equipped with Inline Inspector and Colorpilot for quality assurance.

Inline Inspector is claimed to detect even the smallest flaw on a printed sheet as it is speeding through the press.

The Colorpilot shown at the exhibition is said to capture colourimetry data, as well as density values.

The quality of each print is closely monitored by an electronic system.

MAN Roland also spotlighted its five-colour Roland 200 and the remote service diagnosis system, Telepresence.

Another highlight of the show was the international debut of Spotlights.

Marco Faulhaber, managing director of MAN Roland Greater China said that the new product showed MAN Roland's commitment to support the growth of printing industry in Greater China.

He explained: "MAN Roland had one mission at Print China 2007.

We want to help our customers in realising their winning strategies, whether they aim at being better, different, faster or cheaper.

MAN Roland offers the ideal technology and support to turn the strategy in to success." A showcase corner was dedicated to 'printnet', 'printcom' and 'printservices'.

The company said that 'printnet' offers integrated printroom networking.

At the same time, 'printcom' and 'printservices' provide process compliant system components, maintenance and service packages tailor-made for sheetfed and webfed presses.

MAN Roland also organised a special tour of the Dongguan Hua Nan Printing Company for nearly 300 customers.

On-site demonstrations of the complete MAN Roland sheetfed press series, including the six-colour Roland 500, the two-colour Roland 700, the six-colour Roland 700 LV and the six-colour Roland 900 LV.

Marco Faulhaber added: "Only premium quality can satisfy the most basic needs in print.

Today's printers need value-added applications that promise a high degree of diversification and flexibility to enhance productivity.

MAN Roland is there to support.

Our success at Print China is encouraging and it has reinforced our confidence in providing value-added services to customers so they can get ready for high performance.".
