Image Impact has a smooth, professional finish for demanding colour printing.

Image Smart comes in just one weight - 70gsm and is said to be suitable for use in high speed, long-run applications.

The paper is claimed to have a high whiteness that enhances graphic output.

It has a crisp smooth feel that makes visuals and text sharp and is compatible with the latest colour printing technology including laser, inkjet, copier and fax.

It comes in 80gsm, 90gsm, 100gsm, 120gsm and 160gsm weights, in A4, A3, SRA3 and SRA2 sheet sizes.

Image Universal is an all-round paper that can handle everything around the office, taking the nightmare out of choosing different grades for different jobs, claimed Map Merchant Group.

Universal is a multi-purpose grade, designed for all applications from everyday printing to important internal and external communications.

It is said to be a bulky, high white paper and meets ISO 9706 archival qualities.

It comes in 75gsm, 80gsm, 90gsm and 100gsm weights in A4 and A3 sizes.

A punched A4 sheet is available in 75gsm and 80gsm and there is also the option of A4 fast boxes.

Image Smart is a lighter weight stock that is said provide economy and efficiency without compromise on quality.

It is designed for high speed, high volume printing and copying.

Available in 70gsm in A4 and A3 sizes only, Image Smart can also be supplied in A4 fast boxes - containing 2,500 sheets with no ream wrappers.

Joel Toremans, marketing manager for office paper at Map, said: "We've looked closely at current patterns of usage, as well as advances in print technology and it was clear a streamlined range of papers specifically designed to meet printers' needs would help purchasing decisions and save costs.

People want short-run colour, so there is a definite need for Image Impact, which adds value to this type of work." He added: "However, as at the high volume end of the spectrum, most jobs will quite happily go on 70gsm, so that's all we stock in the Image Smart range.

As its name implies, Image Universal will cope with anything, for situations where too much choice can cause confusion." All papers in the Image range are manufactured to ISO 14001 environmental and ISO 9001 quality performance standards, using pulps from sustainable forests, said Map.
