Converters of Kraft, newsprint and speciality papers that have sheeted master sizes and then guillotine trimmed to finish dimensions can increase productivity and reduce waste with a news sheeter.

According to Maxson Automatic Machinery, the MSP Sheeter can run at speeds of up to 1,000 feet per minute (308 metres per minute) whilst cutting up to six webs of newsprint.

The machine is available in widths up to 65" (1,651mm) the sheeter.

Provided with a dual motor drive system that maintains + 0.015" (+ 0.38mm) cut-off accuracy, operators can input length changes via a key pad, reducing set-up time.

The sheeter's compact size requires minimal floor space and only one operator is required.

Lengths up to 65" (1651 mm) can be sheeted, said the company.

Equipped with air loaded slitters designed for heavy grade knife weights, the MSP Sheeter can draw in multiple rolls of paper wrinkle free and produce up to five piles across the width of the machine.

Make-readies on the sheeter are also said to be quick, safe and accurate.
