He also discussed the range of static systems available to help eliminate the problems.

He commented: "I was very impressed with the level of expertise of the delegates.

They were well informed and eager to learn about some of the new technologies Meech has been introducing.

We saw particular interest in our newly launched Ex antistatic systems for use in hazardous areas.

Both new products are certified by Baseefa to comply with Article 9 of the Council Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX).

They are particularly suited to coating, laminating, finishing and gravure printing applications, where the highest safety standards are mandatory."
