Wood Free Uncoated Paper's New Presentation
M-real has released a new swatch book, case study and product folder for its Tauro range of wood free, white uncoated paper.
Robert Home also offers technical consultancy on obtaining the best results from Tauro together with samples, printed guidelines and brochures.
Tauro is a wood free, white natural paper for sheet fed offset printing.
Made from a beech pulp using special production parameters at M-real's Stockstadt mill, Tauro combines cloud-free, sharp dot and clear print with natural reproduction of colours, claimed the company.
Tauro comes in a wide surface weight range of 70gsm to 300gsm, with shade matching consistently throughout the grammages.
It includes 120gsm and 140gsm substances popular with designers.
As well as an enormous variety of stock formats custom orders for non-standard formats can be fulfilled at short notice due to the central location of the Stockstadt mill.
M-Real said Tauro is manufactured under high environmental standards, with a total use of energy and raw materials lower than for other types of paper, and conforming to ISO 14001.
Its pulp is obtained almost exclusively from thinned out and waste timber from forests close to the mill, with additional fibre and filler materials delivered by ship.
"With good bulk and opacity Tauro is ideal for brochures, folders and leaflets," said Neil Entwistle, national account manager of M-real UK.
"Its soft whiteness and reader-friendly matt surface make it perfect for financial print, especially annual reports, and a welcome alternative to gloss and silk papers for high value brochures such as those for fashion, cosmetics, travel and cars."
