Mix Of Papers For Marks And Spencer Publications
Two new publications launched in tandem with Marks and Spencer's new Lifestore retail venture both use paper from M-real, one of Europe's leading suppliers of fine papers for publishing and graphics.
Wood Free Uncoated Paper's New Presentation
M-real has released a new swatch book, case study and product folder for its Tauro range of wood free, white uncoated paper.
Each folder also contains a facts and figures leaflet giving range details, technical values and manufacturing and environmental credentials.
There are also A4 samples printed on all the basis weights available for each brand.
Allegro Gloss is a coated fine paper offering high gloss but with a low reflectance surface.
Its smooth, closed surface permits fast ink-setting and brilliant colour rendering.
Thanks to dimensional stability, it delivers good runability in both sheet-fed and heatset web offset presses, said M-real.
Allegro Gloss is available in 11 basis weights from 80gsm-300gsm in sheets and in eight weights from 80gsm-170gsm in reels.
Allegro Demi-matt's smooth, silky surface is claimed to provide high contrast with ink gloss that makes images come alive, almost achieving a 3D effect.
Its printability is enhanced by fast ink drying and optimised ink rub resistance, combined with converting properties.
Allegro Demi-matt is also available from 80gsm-300gsm in sheets and 80gsm-170gsm in reels.
Furioso has a velvety matt surface with the feel of high bulk.
M-real said that the paper has a warm tactile feel that invites readership.
Its high bulk provides good opacity but at lower weights, reducing cost for catalogues and direct mail.
Furioso comes in 12 weights in sheets, from 70gsm-300gsm and eight weights from 70gsm-150gsm in reels.
Copies of the folders are available by contacting M-real's UK sample department.
