M-real UK's Publishing Business Area will be notifying its customers about details of its intention to raise the price of coated paper reels this month.
M-real UK's Publishing Business Area will be notifying its customers about details of its intention to raise the price of coated paper reels this month.
Andrew Gunman, divisional director for M-real Publishing UK said: "I don't think this announcement will be a surprise to anybody.
It is well documented how the paper industry is struggling with meagre margins and an aggressive cost push environment.
We realise that many of our customers are also finding the business environment very difficult, and so we will be approaching them with a realistic and collaborative agenda." He added: "However, for the paper industry to remain vital and sustainable we have to take charge of our own future, and a key part of this is to make sure we get a fair price for our product.".
