Wood Free Uncoated Paper's New Presentation
M-real has released a new swatch book, case study and product folder for its Tauro range of wood free, white uncoated paper.
Kemiart Ultra is claimjed to providec a combination of upgraded graphics quality in flexo postprint and productivity in all stages of printing and converting processes.
It complements M-real's existing Kemiart product range, which includes Kemiart Brite, Kemiart Lite and Kemiart Graph.
Kemiart Ultra's surface is said by M-real to allow for a shorter ink drying time than conventional coated liners, enabling it to handle higher ink volumes and higher printing speeds than usual.
The company added that the new product also removes the need to modify printing inks when moving from an uncoated substrate.
Juha Lounasvaara, vice president of corrugated case materials at M-real, said: "Printing a coated liner in one pass in flexo postprint on conventional presses hasn't really been possible until now without productivity being seriously compromised.
We are already getting feedback from early Kemiart Ultra adopters of productivity improvements as high as 40 per cent over other coated liners.
Ultra will redefine established standards of performance.".
