It is said to be suitable for dry foods and beverages, crispbread, chocolate and confectionery, pet foods, cigarettes, and pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
Simcastor Flex ES provides extra stiffness needed in, for instance, yoghurt banderols, added M-real.
Simcastor Label and Simcastor Base have also been renewed.
Simcastor Label, with improved whiteness, is claimed to offer good printability in offset printing, as well as smooth processing and labelling.
Simcastor Base, now with improved brightness and bulk, is also claimed to provide runability and good lay-flat properties, as well as good printability on the reverse side.
Simcastor Plus, which has remained unchanged, is said to be suitable for flexible packaging.
