Following a review of its products and services M-real Publishing is simplifying the choice of products it offers and creating faster product availability.
M-real added that it also conducted a customer survey and its new Galerie Customer Programme will be ready to be introduced in January 2008 According to the company, the revised paper quality and consistency, improved print performance services, and a menu of supply service options will be priced with greater transparency

M-real can now provide a faster and more comprehensive sample service with the opening of its new Sample Centre, supplying dummies as well as plain and printed samples of M-real's graphics papers.
Recycled Paper Wins Environmental Recognition
M-real Corporation Office Papers will showcase the latest editions to its Evolve, Logic, Data Copy office papers brands at Paperworld 2005 (Hall 1.2, Stand B51).
Further improvements to the supply service include the availability of defined Galerie grades from express stocks from three European locations - Lubeck, Tilbury and Antwerp - and a new e-service - Galerienet - that provides real-time access to the Galerie express stock items.
That will give customers greater reliability and flexibility, allowing them to obtain additional paper quickly in the event of last minute changes or over-usage, added the company.
M-real said that its print performance services will help customers achieve improved print quality, consistent colour and image reproduction, and higher press performance, resulting in cost savings.
The services include consultancy in colour management and printing efficiency and a print performance service team has been established to collaborate with printers and users.
M-real's colour management services have already been used by customers that include Conde Nast (Vogue), BBC Magazines and Oriflame.
The Galerie Customer Programme will be presented to M-real's customers during November, with the streamlined product range, print performance services and Galerienet e-services available from next January.
Further elements of the improved supply service will be introduced in the first half of 2008.
Gregory Gettinger, executive vice president of M-real's Publishing Business Area, commented: "Our research tells us that customers want paper suppliers to pay more attention to overall supply and process efficiency.
Their key needs are speed, flexible production services, consistent quality and efficiency in the printing process.
