The Alpha III slitter-rewinder from MGE is part of the Webcon range of fully-automatic and semi-automatic converting machinery.
The addition of those three units means that the Pressmate range now offers cooling systems from 0.5kW to 10kW, servicing anything from single colour presses up to 10 colour units, said MGE.
The new circulators follow the same design principles as their smaller counterparts and are claimed to provide the same level of performance and reliability to meet the demands of today's presses.
As with the existing Pressmate circulators, MGE said that the new units can include a choice of alcohol-free or alcohol dosing control systems, digital temperature control, replaceable filtration bags to reduce foaming and prolong the life of the fount solution and they feature venturi suction returns or a pump-back tank options.
In addition the new models also include additive dosing units with varying levels of automation, stainless steel tanks with drainage pipe for easy cleaning and fully removable external panels for claimed simplified servicing and maintenance tasks.
