Widening Market For On-Lime Print Procurement
Marlowe Graphic Sales and Services (MGS) of the UK has entered in to a distributor partnership with ROI for its Xralle suite of products for internet to print services.
Marlowe Graphic Sales and Services (MGS) of the UK has entered in to a distributor partnership with ROI for the Xralle suite of products for internet to print services within its digital portfolio.
ROI, Xerox's value added reseller of the year for 2005, has to date made strides with its Xralle web to print software that enables print buyers to design, order and implement their own print requirements for either digital or conventionally printed output.
The claimed flexibility of the Xralle suite is said to have simplified and the personalised printing market and because it is scalable, it is suitable for small businesses as well as large printing companies, including print management firms.
MGS plans to roll out Xralle to its customer base amidst plans to move further forward in to the digital arena to help its customers benefit from the new digital technologies currently available.
MGS sales director Andy Hemmings said: "Our number one priority has always been to maintain our customers' existing equipment and to ensure that they get the maximum return on their investments with us.
In partnering with ROI, we believe that Xralle will greatly enhance our product range.
We believe that our traditional ink on paper customers will greatly benefit from what Xralle has to offer them as its interface provides them with a portal to embrace the new world of digital print ordering, but at the same time use their existing output technology." He continued: "Whereas those customers who already have digital output, or want to move directly to it, will find that Xralle provides the perfect front end system.
In other words, Xralle delivers the best of both worlds in a single package." MGS is planning a series of regional one day seminars in conjunction with ROI to demonstrate how Xralle can help its customers to improve their overall profitability.
The first of them will be held at the MGS showroom in Bedfordshire.
ROI managing director John Murphy said: "With the combined power of MGS's experience and its broad commercial print and pre-press customer base, we believe that we can bring the power of the on-line print procurement to a wider and perhaps more traditional user.
Last year Xralle proved itself as one of the major success stories for the digital print market, and this move with MGS provides a fantastic opportunity for us to further widen our reach in to conventional, as well as digital, markets.".
