Furthermore, the Dutch and Belgian plants have been certified with the ISO 14001 for environmental management standards.
MRM's Belgian plant near Erembodegem achieved quality management certification ISO (9001:2000) in 1996 but the second certification means that it, along with the Dutch plant, has now reached the environmental management standard and all three plants now boast the quality management standard.
The ISO 14001 standard means that Moore Response Marketing minimises its harmful effects on the environment and works to achieve continual improvement of its environmental performance.
The quality management accreditation refers to the company's objective to fulfil customer quality and regulatory requirements, enhance customer satisfaction and continually improve its performance in pursuit of those objectives.
Serge Schmitz, director of sales and marketing at MRM, said: "These accreditations further position us as the leading players in our industry across Europe.
Our commitment to customer satisfaction, both in terms of quality and environmental management, is of great importance to us.
Achieving these standards has been a tough process but I have no doubt that both our staff and customers will benefit from this move." The ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 families are among the most widely known standards and are implemented by 634,000 organisations in 152 countries worldwide.
ISO 9000 has become an international reference for quality management requirements in business-to-business dealings and ISO 14000 is well on the way to achieving as much in enabling organisations to meet their environmental challenges.
