Mosca, supplier of strapping systems to the newspaper industry, is demonstrating the speed and reliability of its technology at Newstec 2005 The company is exhibiting its RO-TAI strapper, claimed to be the quickest machine in its class with speeds of up to 45 bundles per minute

Designed specifically for the newspaper industry, the machine features Mosca's airless, all-electric technology, which iss aid to eliminate the need for costly compressed air and its related maintenance requirements.

Mosca will also demonstrate its versatile RO-MP-4 strapping machine.

A high-speed, stand-alone automatic machine, the RO-MP-4 incorporates a number of user-friendly features and its compact design maximises the use of factory floor space said the company.

Both machines feature Mosca's direct drive technology, which Mosca said has eliminated the use of gearboxes, clutches, pulleys and chains for improved performance, increased speed and long-term reliability.
