Brandcontrol is being made available to customers free of charge and will automatically be included with any of NAPC's new or current Xinet installations.

From the Brandcontrol interface, it is claimed that users will have one-click access to the administration and on-line manual for Elegant 2.0, a customisable graphical interface for Webnative image libraries, the Creativebanks 2.0 front-end for managing user registration and access to assets and Native Security, an add-on that provides enhanced password security for DAM systems.

In addtion it embodies Ntransit, a system for distributing assets to partners and vendors.

NAPC added that Brandcontrol also includes a new tool called Brand It, which enables users to add headers and trailers to Webnative user accounts.

Brand It's graphical user interface is said to save users the trouble of creating HTML and graphics files and putting them in to the correct positions.

Kenny Kirsch, director of strategic solutions at NAPC, commented: "Brand Control is to Xinet what iLife is to Apple.

These applications provide an all-in-one system that any creative person can use to enhance and manage an image library.

Brandcontrol puts everything together in one convenient place, giving users full control to create a customised asset management system for internal or external needs." He added that Brandcontrol will be included as part of NAPC's default installation.

If a customer already has one or more products in the suite installed, those products will be automatically activated in Brand Control so they are accessible from its interface.

Along with Brandcontrol, NAPC is also releasing Version 2.0 of Creativebanks.

The new version adds enhancements, such as automated creation of user accounts, new layout sizes and a password rotation policy.

Kirsch said: "Now you can build a front door to your image library and manage who walks through it in Creativebanks, rather than doing it manually in Webnative." In all, Version 2.0 of Creativebanks includes a total of 15 new features.

The Brandcontrol suite is now available for sale exclusively through NAPC.
