Neopost, the provider of mailing, addressing, document handling and mail management systems, has acquired Ohio Mailing Systems and Solutions (OMSS).

Neopost, the provider of mailing, addressing, document handling and mail management systems, has acquired Ohio Mailing Systems and Solutions (OMSS).

OMSS has been a Hasler dealer for 21 years, and Mailers Equipment Company (MEC), a Neopost dealer for the past 27 years.

OMSS and MEC are now corporate branches of Neopost.

Neopost's acquisition of OMSS and MEC creates an Ohio Valley sales region, serving 10,000 customers and 35,000 potential customers.

Overseeing the new corporate structure in Columbus, Cincinnati (USA) and Cleveland is Bob Cullinan.

He was president and chief executive officer of OMSS, and has joined the Neopost team as regional sales director.

"I am very excited to lead the newly formed Neopost and Hasler Ohio Valley Region," said Cullinan.

"The power of this transaction is the merging of three very successful organisations, Neopost, Ohio Mailing Systems and Solutions and Mailers Equipment Company.

A consolidated effort in both sales and service will offer our customers excellent support and maximise the experience and resources of all three organisations." Gerard Grossano, the vice president of sales for Neopost, said: "This consolidation enables us to focus on growing the business and market share, whilst continually developing more efficient ways to respond to customers.".
