According to Neopost, with virtually no training, users have the ability to view service options and rates between competing carriers before picking the lowest cost, or the fastest carrier option to meet a shipment delivery requirement.
This feature controls the over-use of high-cost services.
When interfaced with a Neopost mailing system, Friendship Navigator can be used as a multi-carrier accounting system, whereby shipping costs and postage expenditures are consolidated and reported by various types of accounting identifiers, such as originating department identification codes, general ledger cost centers, client charge-back accounts, or legal sector client matter numbers, added Neopost.
