Newscolor selected by IBD

Newscolor proofing was selected by Investor's Business Daily for all its print sites across the US.

Newscolor, L.L.C., a leading developer of newsprint proofing software, has been selected to provide a nationwide proofing solution by Investor's Business Daily (IBD), the Los Angeles based national business and financial daily serving over 800,000 investors worldwide.

IBD will use the same Newscolor proofing capability at its production site in Los Angeles and for 11 newspaper print sites across the US.

Nine IBD newspaper print sites currently running Newscolor proofing software will be upgraded to mirror the new Newscolor Version 4.3 installation at the Investor's Business Daily production site in Los Angeles.

Newscolor and IBD will work together to create a 'standard' color match for use at each print site.

Using the same Newscolor color match along with its printer linearisation software, each print site can produce the same proofs.
