Nexpress Solutions has installed one of its 2100 digital colour presses with a fifth imaging unit at Bridge Communications in Maldon, Essex (UK).

Bridge Communications a winner of 2003 and 2004 direct mail printer of the year awards said it has built on its creative strengths and as a result, is taking a large slice of the action in the direct mail market.

"We have consistently focused on creativity and innovation.

We have bridged a gap in the market with our offerings of clever one-piece specialised mailers, meeting the needs of companies and their creative designers who want something different.

We have pioneered new ideas from the start.

It is part of our company ethos.

We believe in pushing boundaries and with the Nexpress 2100 press, that is exactly what we intend to do," said Peter Ruck, joint managing director for Bridge Communications.

"In today's world of personalisation, the recipient will respond to a unique and inventive mailer, which speaks directly to them.

Statistics tell us that intuitive, targeted mailers are getting results.

We chose the 2100 press with the fifth imaging unit and intelligent colour solution as it is miles ahead of the competition and opens up a host of possibilities for us.

With its capability to handle a wide variety of substrates and its colour management tools, it offers unlimited imaginative choices," he continued.

Peter Ruck elaborated on Bridge's strategy: "This technology will enable us to offer unique products to our customers including an increase in opportunities to address customer relationship management strategies.

By providing our customers with a unique product specifically targeted at their niche marketplace, we can effectively support their customer relationships." The firm offers an extensive range of services including high-volume direct marketing services as well as short-run targeted mailings.

All data management and finishing takes place on-site.

Ruck concluded: "We have had excellent cooperation and support from Nexpress Solutions.

It is a dynamic and productive relationship.

We are in our infancy as a company, but with Nexpress alongside, we are going to the stars.".
