Nipson is featuring book-on-demand (BOD) application demonstrations with a Muller Martini system at Print '05 on the Nipson stand - 12049 - at the show Nipson is showcasing the new, high-speed Varypress 200 running a BOD application at a claimed 290 feet per minute, a speed increase of over 25 per cent over earlier machines
The system is integrated with Muller Martini's Sigmaline On Demand technology, a modular BOD manufacturing system designed for commercial printers, publishers and book manufacturers.
The application demonstration focuses on variable digital printing technology combined with finishing methods to achieve maximum productivity and halftone quality at excellent production speeds, said Nipson.
