At Digital Print World on stand 530, Nipson is exhibiting the new Nipson 1865 for the first time in the UK.

The Nipson 1865 is a compact unit that is said to be suitable for proofing and short production runs.

With its variable printing resolution, the 1865 is claimed to offer a range of resolution levels that can be adjusted to specific tasks.

A laser imaging system that Nipson said is known for its reliability and low cost of operation, the Nipson 1865 provides variable data printing on paper, tag and label substrates with a print width up to 43cm.

Adjustable heat settings further ensure the substrate is not affected and limit downtime.

Nipson products feature the combination of magnetographic imaging and flash fusing, which when combined, are said to produce razor-sharp output at full rated speeds on a range of stocks, including papers from light to heavy weights, synthetics, foils, labels and carbonless materials.
