With only four weeks to go until Northprint 2005, show organiser IIR said that pre-registration is soaring, with over 3,500 visitors expected to attend.
Those companies include: Brightblue Systems, Frimpeks, PIAB, Silicon Systems, Technique MIS, Hydro Dynamic Products, Maverick, Compose Business, Total Prepress, Foliant, Premier Rolls, Perfect Bindery Solutions, TUS, Digipressfinder.com, Simply Print Finishing, Vaccuumatic, Express Print Solutions, Envirowise, Eurocharts, PFS2 and Clinical Print Finishers.
IIR added that popular with printers and print buyers alike, Northprint attracts thousands of visitors from all over the UK to see a cross section of print production processes and equipment.
Alongside the new exhibitors and technologies, some new features are planned this year that IIR exhibitions hope will attract a new generation of visitors to the biennial print show.
A number of new technologies will be launched at the show across pre-press, printing and finishing.
Apex Digital will demonstrate the DPX2, the latest version of its polyester-based CTP system, whilst DDS Print Software will show the latest versions of its software including Accura CRM integrated contact management programme and the Accura ASP e-commerce internet module.
Duplo International will launch the ASM 500 squareback finisher and Northprint 2007 will see the first appearance of the GBC Delta 7052 laminating system on the GBC Films Group stand.
Other technologies that will make their UK debut include the Horizon BQ-470 four-clamp perfect binding system from Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE) and the roller nip gauge Diginip from Lee James Graphic Systems.
Gordon Kirk, event manager at IIR Exhibitions, said: "We have some excellent features planned at this year's Northprint that will ensure this long-standing print show remains firmly up-to-date.
The well established formula of the event combined with this year's innovations will see the show remains as popular as ever.".
