Visitors will be able to choose from different themed greetings card designs and order up to 50 cards, with the capability to personalise greetings on the card, giving them samples that they can use.
Card orders will be initiated via the Pageflex web-to-print software.
The order will then be transmitted to OASymbio, which will link in to the managment information system provided by EPMS.
OASymbio then transmits all the job instructions to the press and finishing devices.
From there attendees will be able to watch as the cards are automatically imposed and printed on a Canon Imagepress C1 print engine without operator intervention and go through automated finishing on a Duplo DC-645 production colour finisher.
The finished cards will be bundled and taken to the shipping station, where all delivery details have already been transferred via OASymbio, so that the cards can be packaged, a pack-list and shipping label produced automatically and finally shipped to the visitor at their specified destination at the end of the show.
Visitors to the OA stand will also be able to order a photo book choosing from various themes provided by Digilabs.
Once the attendee has selected the book, the complete job instructions will be transmitted to OASymbio to EPMS' MIS system, the Canon Imagepress C1 and the Standard Horizon APC-M61IISB automatic hydraulic cutter.
The finished books will be sent through the Unibind binding system before moving to the shipping station where an automatically printed shipping label will be added.
Additionally, OA will be demonstrating how OASymbio makes automation possible on the Canon USA stand (2400), the Duplo USA stand (3822), the HP stand (1229) and the Standard Horizon stand (2246).
