Oce has introduced three new wide format colour scanners and a new improved version of the Oce Color Copy Software.

Together these new products offer flexible, high quality copying and scan-to-file, with easy operation and new functionality claimed the company.

The three new full-colour scanners are the Oce CS4032, CS4037 and the flagship CS4054 with a large 54" (137cm) scanning width.

These new models replace the existing 36" and 50" CS4000-series scanners, offering significant improvements in speed, connectivity and quality.

The company said that the new scanners are on average twice as fast as previous models.

That speed is achieved by a new camera together with a new high-speed Firewire (IEEE 1394) computer interface.

The new Oce Color Copy Software Version 7.0 offers many improvements to optimise workflow.

The company also said that the copy quality is further improved in all predefined copy modes.

Users can now, not only create templates that define all settings for specific jobs, it is even possible to assign those settings to specific users.

The scan-to-file function has also been enhanced.
