Flexibility and scalability are key themes supporting the new initiative and Oce's stand at the Ipex exhibition in the UK - stand G50-51 - will act as the first public platform for its announcement.
The company will be unveiling a series of initiatives including specialist sales consultants, end user support and software and hardware products.
In addition, Ipex will offer Oce the opportunity to reveal its latest printing innovations, including the launch of a new system, which the company claimed demonstrates a 'quantum leap in digital printing' for the transactional, commercial and book printing markets.

Oce's 3 New Wide Format Scanners And Software
Oce has introduced three new wide format colour scanners and a new improved version of the Oce Color Copy Software.
New technologies being announced as part of Oce's convergence strategy include the ability to accept transactional, variable publishing and traditional applications in the same workflow and printing single or multiple spot colours, full colour and mono applications cost effectively on the same hardware.
In addition, print speed upgrades to mirror increased capacity requirements over time without replacing hardware and the ability to print security products on the same device as used for standard print, are prominent.
To ensure the strategy is driven forward, Oce has made a series of appointments and created a new business unit to ensure that customers will receive the right support from one focused team.
Simon Wheeler has been appointed as the business unit director and is in the process of re-aligning his 20-strong sales force to maximise customer interaction and support, said the company.
To enhance it further, a recruitment drive is also underway, which has already resulted in the appointment of Mark Allen in the role of northern sales manager.
Allen has been with Oce for two years and previously worked for Heidelberg in the digital division.
He will cover the north of England and assist customers in developing their digital businesses.
Simon Wheeler said: "We have decided to focus on this area wholeheartedly in response to our customers' needs.
A key theme that recurs time and again is flexibility.
Increasingly, the industry needs to provide a service that is fleet of foot and doesn't require huge amounts of up front investment.
Along with the ability to upgrade and increase productivity, these elements form a key part of our design philosophy, which is a key differentiator for Oce in the market and a concept we refer to as convergence." He added that Oce is putting in place a host of technologies and support that responds to client issues and allows them to increase the return on investment on their production devices through increasing the utilisation of their print capacity.
