The new Oce Varioprint Titanium line is said to provide a new level of productivity, reliability and flexibility to help users increase their volumes and manage diverse data streams.

The new Oce Varioprint Titanium line is said to provide a new level of productivity, reliability and flexibility to help users increase their volumes and manage diverse data streams.

The Oce Varioprint 2100 and 2110 Titanium systems are claimed to provide record-breaking productivity and extremely high reliability that enable corporate printrooms and commercial print shops to produce higher volumes in multiple and extended shifts.

The company added that its DPlink feature ensures plug-and-play integration with existing document workflows.

For the transaction printing market, the Varioprint 3070, 3090 and 3110 Titanium systems have the flexibility to transform virtually any data input in to a high-velocity stream of documents it is claimed.

Operating at a claimed 106 images per minute it is also said to provide up to 100 per cent higher productivity than competing systems, with unattended printing of 20,400 images.

Oce said that the print quality is equal to offset and the system posesses environmental friendliness.

In an Oce internal benchmarking test the Varioprint 2110 produced a mixed batch of print jobs at least 58 per cent faster than any other competing system in segment six and, in two cases, it was twice as fast as the competition, added the company.

The company also claimed that with the Varioprint Titanium, many tasks, such as tab printing, colour splitting, inserts and scanning are automated and carried out simultaneously to increase output.

Oce said that the machine is built for non-stop production and the new, embedded controller is 23 per cent faster, whilst the stacker can handle 6,000 sheets.

With the standard output trays the system is said to be capable of a total output of 10,500 sheets.

The printer can be accessed when the stacker is in operation and the stacker can be unloaded without interrupting printing.

All media types and sizes processed by the printer can be handled automatically by the stacker.

The Varioprint Titanium is claimed to take reliability to a new level for long print runs and multiple shift work.

Oce said that the Varioprint Titanium has low environmental impact as well.

It meets US Energy Star and Federal Energy Management Programme (FEMP) requirements.

The company added that the Varioprint Titanium produces virtually no emissions (for example, ozone emission is = 0.001 mg per hour) and it runs quietly.

It is compliant with the European Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive (2002/95/EC) and it already complies with new environmental legislation that will become effective in several states in America in 2007.

The Varioprint Titanium family is available in Europe now and will be available worldwide by November 1.
