Printers vote Oce 'Supplier of the Year
2007'
Printers at this year's BAPC (British Association for Print and Communication) awards ceremony vote Oce as the 2007 'Supplier of the Year'.
The award is the only category at the BAPC event to acknowledge manufacturers and is a highly commendable prize to receive in that the winner is chosen by the members and associate members attending the event This year's ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and welcomed over 160 attendees from every facet of the print and creative industry sectors

The event was first held in 1984 and takes place annually in conjunction with the BAPC's yearly gala dinner and conference, which is held at various UK locations over a weekend.
Nick Chalk, Sector Marketing Manager Commercial, said: "Oce is dedicated to providing a customer care programme that is second to none in the industry and has put a number of pioneering schemes in place.

The BAPC (British Association for Print and Communication) is widely acknowledged as the prime trade association for the graphic arts community and is run by printers for printers, providing members with a range of support services and facilities that are created to ensure the survival and success of its members.
Commenting on Oce's win at the event, BAPC Chairman Sidney Bobb said: "Oce's dynamic approach to customer care guaranteed it a place on the 'Supplier of the Year' leader board.
With its dedication to adding value through its service, the company is especially in tune with the current demands and requirements of its target market and supports the 'best practice' ethos supported by the BAPC.

This year's BAPC event was the first to be certified as carbon neutral by carbon management organisation Co2 balance.
