OKI Printing introduces C300 A4 colour printers

OKI Printing Solutions has added the C300 Series A4 colour printer ranges to its portfolio.

The new models are the C310dn, offering host-based (GDI) emulation for use with Windows and MAC computers and the C330dn with PCL and Postscript emulations for platform flexibility.

Both models are claimed to output the first colour page in nine seconds, with the rest following at 22 pages per minute (ppm).

Mono print performance is said to be 8.5 seconds for the first page and 24ppm for continuous print.

A network interface enables sharing and automatic two-sided printing is standard.

According to OKI Printing Solutions, single-pass digital LED technology provides a flat paper path.

The C300 Series has a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray (MPT) for easy feeding of a range of paper from 64gsm-220gsm at lengths up to 1.2m.

A 250-sheet universal paper tray keeps user interventions to a minimum and accommodates paper sizes from A6 to A4.

The optional second tray adds another 530 sheets for increased flexibility and capacity up to 880 sheets in total.

The C310 and C330 are manufactured in a zero-carbon facility and feature ultra-low energy requirements.

For jobs of one or two pages, an eco mode ensures that energy is not wasted, bringing the machine fully up to temperature.

Instead, the unit prints at 16ppm, which means the fuser only needs to partially heat up.

This saves approximately 19 per cent of the energy that would otherwise be used, with a single page job being delivered up to two seconds faster.

The C310 and C330 are Energy Star certified.
