OKI mono printers handle non-standard media

OKI Printing Solutions has announced its B411 and B431 mono printers with a print engine that handles media up to 163gsm and from A6 up to 1.2m banners.

The B411d is said to print at 33 pages per minute (ppm), while the B431d manages 38ppm.

Automatic duplex is standard on both models and networking is available on DN versions of the machines.

The units have a rear exit tray built in as standard for easier handling of non-standard media, such as index cards and envelopes.

The standard tray handles 250 sheets of paper and both models have a multi-purpose tray.

A 530-sheet second tray unit is available to meet increased print volume requirements or provide additional paper feeding.

The systems have an LCD display to provide status information for the printer, with 330MHz processors and a 64MB memory (expandable to 320MB).

The B411d and B431d have USB and parallel interfaces as standard, together with network versions of each product.

The B411 prints at 2,400dpi x 600dpi while the B431 has true 1,200dpi x 1,200dpi resolution, as well as Postscript support.
