The software will be presented on the Onevision stand - 6133 - at Print '05, Chicago (USA).

Speedflow comprises the modules Speedflow Check, Speedflow Edit, Speedflow Impose and Speedflow Cockpit.

The modules enable an HP Indigo user to set up a personal automated pre-press PDF workflow to achieve maximum production file security, regardless of quality and level of incoming PDF files, said Onevision.

Speedflow Check offers automated pre-flight, correction, normalisation and optimisation of PDF, EPS, Postscript and EPS files.

Bernd Luts, the sales director for central Europe at Onevision, said: "HP Indigo digital colour press users will especially benefit from the option in Speedflow Check to automatically reduce the ink coverage as ink savings of more than 10 per cent are possible." Speedflow Edit, Onevision's PDF editing tool for last minute corrections offers, with newly integrated PDF 1.6, a variety of editing possibilities for file preparation, said the company.

Speedflow Impose, the PDF-based imposition software that supports sheet-fed, web and digital printing is also JDF-compliant for automated imposition.

The modules are available in two different packages - Speedflow Basic comprises Speedflow Check and Edit and the Speedflow Suite additionally includes Speedflow Impose.

Speedflow Cockpit is the JDFnet-enabled workflow control and collaboration tool that allows the commercial and digital printer to integrate and control all software from native DTP software to the RIP.
